Mio Senzaki

I’m Mio Senzaki, a nature filmmaker and photographer from Japan, now based in California.

My connection to wildlife began in conservation advocacy, speaking up for animals and the places they live. Over time, I realized I wanted to spend more time in nature and show the beauty of the natural world to others. We all live busy lives, and sometimes forget how healing nature can be, and how worthy it is of protection. My passion is telling animals’ stories through film and photography, so others can feel the connection I feel when I’m out there with them.
